Mattres

There are two aspects to buying a mattres.

1. Find a mattres that's comfortable.

2. Get the best price on a comfortable mattres.

The first can be very difficult because you often don't know how comfortable a mattres is until you've slept on it for a few months, at least more than a month. So it can be frustrating to try and figure that out from laying on it for 15 minutes or less in the store. The best advice my be just to try as many as possible, lay on them for more than just a couple of minutes, even more than once. And don't go to extremes getting something that's really soft or really firm.

The second can be intimidating, but may be easier to achieve. First of all, shop around. But then when you narrow down which mattreses you like, negotiate with the salesmen. Complain about how expensive they are. Play the salesmen against each other by talking about mattreses you liked at other stores. And don't be afraid to leave the store. You can always come back, but they will often make you a better offer if they think they can keep you there.
